Congratulations to the Class of 2024!

2024 Grad

Graduates Miss Anne Pfeiffer, Mr. Anthony O'Neill, Mr. Martin Ahearn, Mr. Peter Conder

Graduation this year was marked by many memorable additions to the normal routine. This year the Mass was sung by the high school choir, with the school song, “Non Nobis Domine,” as exit hymn with epic organ accompaniment. Following the Mass, the students, staff, and families headed to the Bennett auditorium for the graduation ceremony. After the usual opening ceremonies, the various high school academic awards took place, ending with the new Non Nobis award.

The graduation address to the class of 2024 was given by Fr. Richard Boyle. Father entreated the seniors to pick one of the cardinal virtues and develop it through a number of good practices- reading, visits to the Blessed Sacrament, exercise, and managing their time wisely- and, in doing so, to stay together as a class in this small world. Following the address to the graduates was the farewell to departing staff, and then finally the graduates speeches. Salutatorian Anne Pfeiffer compared the school to a ship guided by Our Lady, Star of the Sea, and thanked the many captains, members of the crew, and fellow passengers for doing their part to keep the ship afloat. Valedictorian Peter Conder entreated his classmates, and all listening, to not be distracted by the craziness of the world but instead look on the bright side and be grateful for the many blessings we have received through the daily Mass and the incredible exposure to the sacraments available to the students at the school.

Following the ceremony, everyone gathered to celebrate with a party back at Saint Isidore’s.
