Students Tour May Farms on the Barrel Train

On Wednesday, October 11th, Academy students visited May Farms in Byers, Colorado.

Mrs. May shared some fundamentals of the farm with the children, giving the students an idea of a day in the life of a local farmer in the 1900's.

Kieran helped her with a demonstration of one of the common tools of the day, the iron iron.

It was a beautiful day for a field trip, and the children had a very enjoyable visit!
