On the brisk late autumn evening of Sunday, December 4th, OLHCA students in the 9th through 12th grades were treated to a seasonal choral performance.

Dressed in their Sunday best, the students arrived at the St. Paul Community of Faith hall in downtown Denver to see "O Magnum Mysterium," a musical performance by the Columbine Chorale.

After the concert, the students returned to the school for pizza and ice cream. The field trip was organized by Mrs. Angela Pfeiffer, to show the high school choir a professional choral performance.  She was accompanied by the Kindergarten-2nd Grade choir teacher, Mrs. Rachel Bushnell; along with Fr. John Fewel, Fr. Dominic May, and chaperones Tristan Zylla, Megan Eddy, and Daniel Eddy.

The concert provided a wonderful evening for the students. The Columbine Chorale sang a wide variety of Christmas songs. At the end of the night, the audience went wild with applause and the singers returned for an encore performance of “The Christmas Song (Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire)."

The event was a wonderful opportunity for the high schoolers to experience the Christmas spirit with the music of the Columbine Chorale.
